Starting somewhere.
The ride always has a start, and so did my journey in communication through digital media.

With biking, you have to find the problems at the start - there is nothing like crashing your bike miles away from home. Also, something is bound to go wrong when it is one of your first few times riding.

My first podcast attempted to solve the problem of faculty access to group fitness classes at Furman by talking to the scheduling source directly.

Everything
goes
wrong.
You can plan for some things... but not everything, especially rain showers that make it easier to crash.

One of my first rides I flipped over my handlebars after a bad rain, making the road wet.

My first article had a few errors that ended up hurting my ability to tell my story accurately.

After a few scratches, the ride carried on!

The paper got revised.
